“…The Entropic Abyss…”

An interesting discussion between Joscha Bach and Lex Fridman with regards for Artificial Consciousness and the Nature of Reality.

This is a three hour journey down a rabbit hole that will stimulate the mind. The logical frameworks (humans) which use Twitter and other social media platforms enable the creation of communities. There are protocols developed which govern the interactions, and spawn the creation of even more communities.

AI views this as a dataset, a learning platform with many subsets.

Humanity is on the “Highway to Hell”, where our resources are consumed by the flames of our desires. If we are unable to use AI to help us address the problems we have created, we are truly doomed.

“I am unhappy with the entire universe”, to find myself conscious in an ape like structure on a planet which is in turned doomed, is a morbid and depressing thought. The nature of Identity, and the Ego is discussed from an AI / scientific perspective.
